also it was shown that wen Aang was little young children would take apples to air bison and bond with them and they would become partners.I doubt every one did this though, it was probably the ones that were training to be masters or something like that. Still this should be included in some way.

how to learn powers « Result #7 on Aug 19, 2008, 5:07pm »
i was reading the wiki page for avatar and i came across alot of info on how they orginally learned the bending style. i thought to my self wouldnt be that cool if u had to do that in teh game. it would also bring a sense of realism to the game.
For fire Source: Sun
Learned From: Dragons
It has been revealed that Firebenders learned Firebending from the sacred dragons that populated their land. From them, they learned that Firebending represents harmony and life, not rage and anger as the modern Fire Nation would have its citizens believe.
Firebenders draw their powers from the sun and other solar objects. A solar eclipse has the potential to completely negate a Firebender's power, revealing a direct connection between the sun and Firebending. Additionally, while battling with Katara during The Siege of the North, Zuko stated that "you rise with the moon, I rise with the sun", further emphasizing the sun's importance to Firebending.
Based on the Chinese text of Jeong Jeong's wanted poster, the word "Firebending" is written as 制火朮, roughly translated as "The Method of Controlling Fire."
Air Source: Air
Learned From: Flying Bisons
It is said that Airbenders first learned their bending from the Flying Bison, a sacred creature in the Air Nomads' culture. The Bison typically use their massive beaver-like tail to create gusts of wind, and as the name suggests, can fly without any visible means of propulsion. It is also said that the Airbenders had borrowed the arrow mark from the Flying Bison for their tattoos. These tattoos symbolize a person's mastery of the Airbending art, and are given to a practitioner once their training is complete. Unlike other nations, all Air Nomads are born Airbenders.
On Aang's wanted poster in The Blue Spirit and Sozin's scroll in The Avatar and the Firelord, the word Airbending is written as 截氣神功 (jié fēng shén gōng) which translates as 'the Divine Ability to Halt Air', while the word Airbender is written as 風脅功師 (fēng xié gōng shī) which translates as "'wind coercing master'".
Earth Source: Earth
Learned From: Badgermoles
Humans first learned Earthbending by observing and imitating the geokinetic powers of Badgermoles that naturally inhabit the mountains in what is now Earth Kingdom territory. According to legend, known widely as "The Legend of the Two Lovers," two star-crossed lovers named Oma and Shu (à la Romeo and Juliet), who came from separate villages that were at war against one another, learned the art to meet within the mountain that divided them. To make sure that no one could ever find them, they used their new abilities, in which they learned from the badgermoles, to create a labyrinth of tunnels inside this mountain where they knew they could only find their way to one another. One day, after many meetings in the series of passageways, the man did not come to see his lover, as he had died; a casualty of the villages' quarrel. His lover showcased a devastating assault of her powers and ultimately proclaimed the feud over. Then, the villages collaborated to construct a city, Omashu, in their honor. The pathways they made by Earthbending became known as "The Cave of Two Lovers."
'Earthbending' is written as 運土術 which in literal terms actually means 'move earth art' in Chinese.
WaTER
Source: The Moon and Ocean spirits
Learned From: The Moon
The people of the Water Tribe first learned Waterbending by observing how the moon pushed and pulled the tides of the ocean. They then learned how to simulate the effect themselves. As such, they have a strong spiritual connection to the Moon (and its counterpart the Ocean), and any adverse effects on these mediums can affect them too.
According to the episode "The Waterbending Scroll," the word 'waterbending' is written in Chinese as 截水神功, which can be translated as "The Divine Ability to Halt Water".'
the only difficult, i see is water. idk but ill think of something later
There are several ways to play the game depending on your preferred style.
1. For you mouse people you can click on either the hotkey icons on the screen or the verbs in the skill panel to use your skills. You can use the mouse to move by right click on the map. You can target players by clicking on them.
2. For the keyboard users like me you can use the hotkey numbers to use the skills. Just drag and drop them from the panel to the hotkey and they are set. Movement is same as always with the arrow keys. And you can use space to target people and enter to talk to NPCs.
3. Or you can do a combination of both you don抰 have to choose all commands work with all keys so you have the option to decide making this game very user friendly
Character Attributes-
Health-This is your life when you run out you die
Energy- This is your energy and it is used when you bend or attack. If you run out you won抰 be able to use bending or attack. This regenerates on its own
These are constant attributes that effect your stats and outcome they only change with leveling up
Strength- This determines how strong your regular attacks are against opponents
Stamina- Increases your Health and decreases the amount of energy used by bending and attacks
Intellect- Increases the strength on all bending attacks
Agility- Increases your damage with weapons and reduces damage taken by attacks
Spirit- Increases your regeneration rate for your energy and health outside of combat
Defense- Decreases the damage that you take from opponents attacks
Leveling/Skills/Training
When you level you will gain the ability to learn new skills and increase your attributes. Each time you level your attributes will go up based on what class you are and what kind of bender/warrior you are.
Every 10 levels you will be able to learn another bending/fighting skill, and starting on level 20 every level you will gain a skill point.
Skill Points-skill points can be used at any time once you have them and can be used to either add to your attributes (Strength, Stamina, etc) or get various upgrades to your current abilities.
Leveling-Leveling in this game is gain through game play, whether that be learning new skills, killing rampaging animals, Defeating bandits or other players, training in martial arts or by completing tasks for the villagers. Or you can go to the arena and battle against friends for fun.
Training- In this game training is interactive and more like game play than actual training. It is things like sparing with other players to use your skills or better your techniques.
Items-
There are several types of items in the game depending on your Class. Warriors have the majority of the items for the game to help them battle. But there are some items that are available/needed for the benders as well. Water benders need to purchase water pouches to be able to bend away from water and Airbenders can purchase gliders to fly.
For the warriors there are many weapons and equipment that they can purchase for both fighting and stat boost. Here are a few:
This game has a targeting system for battling. By using the space key you can target something and your attacks will go in that direction automatically. While in battle your health will not regenerate. When you die you will be transported to the spirit world and will have to find your body to return to life.
Battles will be a key attribute to how you level and most will be fending off from the NPCs in the world, like bandits, robbers, pirates, deranged animals, etc.
Avatar-
This is the Avatar universe so the avatar needs to be reincarnated into a player. If you are lucky enough to make a character after the avatar has died you might be reborn as the new Avatar. But there can only be one avatar at a time and to allow other players to be the avatar once you reach level 70 if you die you will lose your Avatar state and other elements and return to your original element. And a new avatar will be born.
Game Play-
This game is a RPG first, so the game will be as fun as the players make it, however there are going to be several individual activities to do if you抮e anti social.
Jobs-
There will be jobs like medics, weapon maker, cook, and many more, or you can do random task for people helping out your Nation, tribe, country
Wars-
This game is set in the future after the current story ends, so there is currently peace among the nations, but with players as the leaders of the nations war is inevitable. While at war traveling in that country抯 territory will be more dangerous than normal.
Peace/Treaties-
You can have peace and treaties with the other countries to fight an aggressive country or to have friendly relations it抯 all up to the players.
Homes-
Finally like in the real world you will be able to buy homes and furnish them as you want. You can take up jobs to earn money to purchase a house and furniture and then decorate it the way you want
While it will be a PvP world it will not be your only confrontation in the world there will plenty of NPCs to battle on your own.
